Today marks Bethel's first year anniversary since her first STA-MCA surgery. Thanks Dr. Steinberg and team for saving my wife's life and for the first class care she received.
Bethel had her 6 month follow up in June and all of the test results were great! She's cleared for another 3 years.

Hi, my wife is doing well 5+ years post op with regards to her symptoms prior to the bilateral surgeries. The experience from diagnosis, finding the right doctor, surgery, and through the recovery process was extremely stressful for both of us. Glad the unknowns are now behind us and we're living "normal" lives.
ReplyDeleteYour wife will be in great hands with Dr. Steinberg and the Stanford Hospital staff. His nurse (Teressa) keeps in touch with us even though we've lived outside the country or on the opposite coast. They truly are caring and passionate for their Moyamoya patients.

My wife likes to stay local; we hope to meet a great doctor here as well...
